The ranch accepts boys between the ages of 5 and 15. By placing them in a structured home environment, they receive the love, support, nurturance and guidance needed to become successful young men. While living at Peppers Ranch, the boys also learn valuable independent living skills necessary for self-sufficiency.

Emphasis is placed on relationships with the family and other supportive adults. Each home has a husband and wife team, who model appropriate ways to communicate, resolve conflict, and encourage each other. The parents consistently demonstrate to the children that they need to have respect for themselves and for others, in order to have a happy and healthy family.

Boys who reside at Peppers Ranch must be able to maintain in a public school setting. They are encouraged to participate in academic programs and extracurricular activities. Participation may include things such as playing sports, raising and showing animals through 4-H/FFA, art classes, choir, and being active in youth group.

Children who have serious mental health issues, developmental delays, or delinquency problems are not appropriate for placement at the ranch.

Peppers Ranch is intentional about offering children a stable and long term home. Youth are placed at the ranch until they graduate from high school, enter college, trade school, or begin their careers.

When children leave Peppers Ranch, it is our goal that they leave with the tools to not just get by in life, but to become happy and successful adults.
