Peppers Ranch is looking for exceptional foster parents who are truly committed to children and aspire to become part of our growing community!
We are a foster community that provides support to the foster care parents and children by offering:
- Centralized educational, therapeutic and recreational services:
- Educational Tutoring
- Art/Individual/Family Therapy
- Horse Riding Program
- Community Garden
- Baseball/Soccer Field
- Playground
- FFA/4-H Swine Program
- Fishing in our stocked pond
- Living in a very peaceful, safe, and rural environment
- Subsidy per child/per month
- A community of "extended family" to lean on and encourage each other
- Exceptional housing at a minimal cost
- Opportunities for sibling groups to remain together
- Assistance to BRIDGE resource parents in facilitating a relationship between foster children and their biological family
MENTOR:
There are many ways to get involved with the Peppers Ranch Foster Care Community. Through the Mentoring Program, you can help to build a sense of competency and broaden a child's horizon. We seek people who have the desire to spend quality, one on one time with a child. Some of our best mentors have played basketball with the children, gone fishing, or just hung out and looked at the stars with them. Our mentors are asked to visit their mentee on the ranch property. With 160 acres, a fishing pond, tree forts, playground, soccer field, basketball goals and a baseball field, the opportunities for a fun visit are endless!
VOLUNTEER:
Peppers Ranch Foster Care Community is involved in various community service projects throughout the year. We believe these experiences teach the children that they can have a meaningful and positive impact on their community. Adults participating in our volunteer activities find that it is a great way to give back to the community and to encourage children at the ranch to have a servants' heart.
