A Community Where Healing Begins
From Vision to Village
Peppers Ranch was founded in 1999 by Hal French native Oklahoman. Peppers Ranch began with a simple dream: to create a place where children from hard places could find stability, belonging, and hope. What started as a boys ranch (residential program) has grown into something deeply personal; a neighborhood of foster homes built around real families and lasting relationships.
In 2009, we transitioned from the boys ranch to a one of a kind foster care community designed to keep siblings together and surround children with consistent, caring loving adults. We believe we should do everything we can to prevent brothers and sisters loosing one another when they enter foster-care. Preserving those bonds protects not just relationships, but identity and healing.
Today, across 240 acres of Oklahoma countryside, Peppers Ranch is more than land and homes; it is a neighborhood, a community, a family. A place where children are known, supported, and given room to grow into the futures they deserve.
